About this course.

The housing qualification teaches students all aspects of working in providing housing assistance and support to tenants, applicants, and the community within the social housing and homelessness sector.

What will you study?

Our Certificate IV in Housing comprises 15 units including 8 core units and 7 elective units. These units will provide you with the knowledge and skills to effectively work within the community.

  • There are no entry requirements.
  • It is encouraged that students are over 18 years of age, if a student is under the age of 18, guardian / parental consent is required.
  • Students must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or applicable visa holder.
  • Students must have a sound knowledge of English language, literacy, and numeracy LLN (this information is obtained at the enrolment process, prior to enrolment acceptance by h&h).
To complete this course you’ll need (depending on work placement / current employment industry):
 
  • A valid Working With Children Check or;
  • A valid National Police Check or;
  • A valid NDIS Check.
